Hello
I'm Alex, a freelance artist and designer living on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Central Victoria.
My nickname is Axle - a rearrangement of the letters in my name! I like that an axle, typically rotates the wheels and supports a vehicle - I feel this is indicative of how I like to work with clients, creatively problem solve and produce the ultimate outcome.
I am a multidisciplinary artist creating anything from small scale illustration to epic painted murals. My style lends itself to a handmade & organic approach that evokes a sense of feeling - combined with the clean, precise nature of graphic design. I work with pencil, charcoal, pen & ink, watercolour, gouache and acrylic paint, paper cut out and digital design.
